Allergene management for peace of mind

Our own allergene management system at Lorenz Snack-World ensures that consumers suffering from food allergies are able to avoid unintentional contact with allergens.

To this end, all allergens in the ingredients and the finished products need to be clearly identified. These allergens are noted in the HACCP analyses and then eliminated or reduced where possible.

Allergens are taken into account at various stages of the process: in the acceptance of raw materials, during the development and production processes and in the labelling and documentation stages.

The aim of these processes is to identify all relevant allergens, to avoid them where possible and where not, to display this information to consumers in accordance with the European Food Directive (EU 82/2003).

Allergy sufferers need to be able to see information quickly and clearly. For this reason, ingredients that trigger the most serious allergies are listed on the packaging.
