We need a variety of different box designs for secure transport and attractive sales presentation at the point of sale. Nearly all our cardboard boxes now consist of 100 % recycled material. Where possible, our suppliers use glues that are made of the starch from our potato washing process.
Specialists are working on optimising the cutting and gluing of our packaging in order to save on material. A special pallet loading programme will enable us to calculate in advance the best possible use of the transport capacity.
Offcuts and unused pieces of cardboard are collected, separated and, where possible, taken to recycling centres.
